Obituary of Amy Sue Acker Hansen

Amy Sue Acker Hansen EAST DURHAM – Amy Sue Acker Hansen, age 47, passed away Friday morning, November 7, 2014 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness. Born in Catskill on August 4, 1967, she is the daughter of Susan Teter Weaver and the late Paul H. Buscher. Amy was raised in Cornwallville and graduated from Cairo-Durham High School. She worked for several area businesses as a receptionist. Amy was a member of the Round Top Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Amy is survived by her husband, Andrew Hansen; two daughters, Angelica Lynn Acker and Destiny Sandra Vogt; three grandchildren, Andrew Hyden Acker, Dakota James Acker and Amelia Sue Forsey; her mother and step-father, Susan and George Weaver; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Alana Buscher; two nieces, Brenna and Malaina Buscher. In addition to her father, Amy was predeceased by her grandparents, Ralph & Gladys Teter, and Helmut & Dorothy Buscher. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Round Top Cemetery.
