Obituary of Howard F. Lord

Howard Fred Lord. 86 years, of Hannacroix passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 7, 2015. Born on May 27, 1928 in Westerlo, he was the son of the late Eva (Blair) Lord and Archie Fred Lord. A graduate of Berne-Knox Westerlo High School, Howard served his country in the Army during the Korean War in the 140th Anti-Air Unit. A long time carpenter and contractor, Howard was a co-owner of the well known Westerlo Builders, who served the Albany, Greene, and Schoharie county areas. Howard most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was cherished for his fun-loving spirit, kindness, and generosity. Surviving are his wife, Deborah (South) Lord; his children, Howard F. Lord II of Coxsackie and Alexandra A. Lord of Maine. Howard has four grandchildren. At his request there will be no services.
