Obituary of Kathleen Smith

GREENVILLE – Kathleen Smith, 102, passed away on Monday morning, April 6, 2015 in The Pines at Catskill. Born in Reenegree, Glendore, County Cork, Ireland, she was daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hayes Daly, and wife of the late George A. Smith. Kathleen was a homemaker, communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, member of the Rosary Altar Society, Greenville Irish-American Club, and Greenville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include a step-daughter, Teresa E. Pagan of Acra and her children, Jim Pagan, George Pagan and Teresa DiChristina; other step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Kathleen was also predeceased by her step-sons, Joseph and George Smith, and all her siblings, Patrick, Michael, Dennis, John, Timothy and Hanna Daly. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville.
